Powered by 9v battery only

Often imitated but never truly recreated, the Roland AF-100 BeeBaa Fuzz & Treble Booster is a monolith of the effects world. A fan favourite of the 1970s, the BeeBaa is immediately recognisable for its diehard steel chassis and snarling, unapologetic fuzz assault. Built on a three-switch design between, bypass, fuzz, and treble boost with a separate tone selector, this is the crown jewel of any fuzz aficionado's collection.

Like many pedals from this era, the AF-100 runs on a 9v battery only.

• Production Years: 1972–1979 (pre-BOSS era)
• Enclosure: Oversized die-hard steel chassis
• Footswitches (3): Effect / Normal (Bypass switch), Fuzz / Treble Booster (Channel select), Fuzz Tone Select (Toggles between two distinct fuzz voicings—one standard/scooped 70s fuzz, one upper-octave-infused tone)
• Knobs / Controls: Volume, Tone, and Sustain (for the fuzz section). Booster Adjust / Boost Level (for the treble booster)
