Santa Cruz OO Custom - Ribbon Bubinga / San Lorenzo Sinker Redwood

Get ready to fall in love with a small-body acoustic that packs a massive punch! This custom Santa Cruz OO is an absolute dream to hold and play, offering a warm, intimately articulate tone that instantly sparks inspiration. Built with a stunning body of Ribbon Bubinga, this guitar delivers a sound remarkably close to classic rosewood with rich, velvety low-end depth, smooth mids, and crystal-clear trebles, all while keeping notes tight, punchy, and impeccably defined. Paired with a top of San Lorenzo Sinker Redwood, it yields an amazingly wide dynamic range and an lush, aged sweetness right out of the case. With scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing bonded by hot hide glue, every single pluck and strum projects with lightning-fast responsiveness and breath-taking sustain. Small-body models like this OO style have long been prized by fingerstyle icons and acoustic legends—from Eric Clapton to Kevn Kinney—for their unmatched balance, comfort, and sweet recording acoustic properties.

Whether you are cozying up on the couch for an evening of songwriting or tracking pristine fingerstyle lines in the studio, this instrument responds to the subtlest touch with warmth, elegance, and incredible charm. The matte-finished Mahogany neck features a classic V profile that feels like home in your hand, while the buttery-smooth ebony fingerboard makes navigation effortless. Visually, this build is pure understated elegance—accented with a striking Blue Paua rosette and top border, Backlit Tortoise binding, and timeless diamond and squares Mother of Pearl inlays with the SCGC logo at the 12th fret. Complete with nickel Waverly tuners and open slotted peghead styling, this custom OO is a masterpiece of boutique luthiery that you will never want to put down!
