The Suhr Pete Thorn Signature in Ocean Turquoise is a beautifully refined instrument that balances timeless character with modern performance. Its Standard body is crafted from two-piece Mahogany and finished in Gloss, topped with a 3/16" two-piece Plain Maple cap and finished with scraped binding. Weighing 7 lbs 5 oz, the guitar offers a comfortable balance while retaining the resonance and authority associated with Mahogany. The Ocean Turquoise finish adds an elegant visual presence, giving the instrument a distinctive character that comes alive under changing light.

The Mahogany neck features a smooth Satin finish and an Even C Slim profile measuring .800" to .880", offering a comfortable feel across the entire neck. An Indian Rosewood fingerboard is paired with a 10" to 14" Standard Roll radius and 22 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets for effortless playability, durability, and expressive control. A 1.650" Tusq White nut provides a precise foundation, while the headstock is finished with a laser engraved Pete Thorn Signature, adding a subtle signature detail to this purpose-built instrument.

A carefully matched pair of Raw Nickel pickups gives this guitar its distinctive voice, with a Thornbucker+ in the bridge and a Thornbucker in the neck. The 5-Way Black Blade selector offers a broad palette of tones, while the Volume and Tone controls keep the interface intuitive and responsive. The Push-Pull control adds further versatility by engaging the bridge pickup in parallel, producing a more open and articulate character. From warm, singing neck tones to powerful bridge textures, the pickup configuration is designed to respond with clarity, touch sensitivity, and musical authority.

Chrome hardware completes the instrument with a polished, cohesive aesthetic. Suhr Locking tuning machines provide reliable tuning stability, while the Wilkinson WVS 130 2-Post bridge features locking saddles and a Steel Block for secure performance and responsive feel. The guitar is supplied with its Hard Case and presents very well overall, with only a small nick on the back of the neck and light pick scratches consistent with normal use. These minor cosmetic signs do little to diminish the presence of this exceptional instrument, which remains a sophisticated and highly versatile Pete Thorn Signature built to inspire confidence and let every note speak with clarity and character.
