Personal Thoughts:
This is a really classy CS-339 and a great option for anyone who loves the sound and feel of a 335 but prefers a more compact body. The Ebony finish keeps the look extremely clean and understated, while the rosewood board and nickel hardware give it that classic Gibson semi-hollow character.

The smaller 339 body changes the feel quite noticeably compared with a full-size ES model. It sits closer to a solidbody in terms of comfort and ergonomics, but still retains the air, warmth and resonance that make semi-hollows so appealing. It is an especially versatile format, equally at home with cleaner blues and jazz tones or pushed into more driven rock sounds.

Being a Custom Shop example from this era also adds to the appeal, with the more traditional construction and appointments giving it a very familiar, refined Gibson feel. A superb all-round semi-hollow with plenty of character and a much easier size to live with than a full 335.

Condition Report:
Excellent condition. Presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of careful use consistent with age. No significant wear or damage to mention. Supplied with its original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case.
