Here for sale we have a Duesenberg Paloma Electric Guitar in White finish. Made in Germany in 2023, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a 1-piece Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Duesenberg Steel Saddle Bridge, a Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola, and a set of Duesenberg Z-Tuners. The pickups installed in this guitar are a Duesenberg Alnico Blade Singlecoil in the neck, Duesenberg Pearlito Singlecoil in the middle, and a Duesenberg GrandVintage Humbucker in the bridge. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a 4-way pickup selector. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with the Medium 'D' profile feeling nicely slim and manageable in the hand for easy playability across the register. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale , whilst the single cutaway body design enhances access to the upper frets. The Indian Rosewood of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola offers Bigsby-style tremolo flutters whilst retaining excellent tuning stability. 

The pickup configuration of this guitar may strike most people as a typical HSS guitar, but Duesenberg have been sure to include their signature wiring magic in the wiring of the Paloma. Instead of the expected 5-way switch, you actually have a 4-way switch. Position one will give you the raw Duesenberg GrandVintage Humbucker, delivering full-fat humbucking tones. Position two will give you the bridge and middle pickup for a strat-style quack with custom filtering. Position three will activate the middle and neck pickup together in a standard parallel circuit to give you that classic position 4 strat sound. Finally, the fourth position gives you the raw Duesenberg Alnico Blade Singlecoil in the neck position. Another unique, cool, awesome sounding design from Duesenberg.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition . All aspects of the headstock display light to mild fine scratching which can only be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light wear markings are present to the fingerboard across the register, the most apparent of these are located to the early register which can not be felt in the playing position. All wear markings are visible under direct light. Light scratching is present to the rear of the neck across the register, these can not be felt in the playing position and can only be seen under direct light.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register.  There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light to mild tarnishing of the finish is present to all aspects of the metal hardware, this is most apparent to the pickup surrounds and tailpiece.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
