Seymour Duncan Phase I Blackouts 7-String Set The original Blackouts — Seymour Duncan's shot across the bow in the active pickup wars. The Phase I AHB-1 set was built to take on the EMG 707 with more output, more low-end authority, and a more organic, less compressed feel. The bridge is absolutely brutal: tight, punishing lows and screaming highs that stay articulate on the low B under high gain. The neck stays clear and fluid for leads without going muddy. Active 9V-powered design with the classic Blackouts voicing — high output with a wider dynamic range than the competition, so it responds to your picking hand instead of flattening everything. Includes bridge and neck pickups, standard 7-string humbucker size, drops into any 7 with humbucker routes. If your 7-string needs to sound like a weapon, this is the set.
