Yamaha BBP35 Vintage Sunburst

YAMAHA BBP35 Vintage Sunburst

The five-string BBP35 sits at the top of Yamaha’s renowned BB series.

This Made in Japan model features an alder/maple/alder three-ply body, a five-piece maple and mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

The neck is attached with Yamaha’s distinctive Miter Bolting construction, designed to create a strong connection between the body and neck.

The bass also incorporates several of Yamaha’s original construction techniques.

YGD Custom V7 pickups provide the wide tonal range made possible by the PJ layout.

It delivers everything from thick, focused low end to clear, articulate tones, making it a versatile and easy-to-use five-string bass.

The Vintage Sunburst finish and pickguard create a classic look, while the overall design retains the distinctive presence of the BB series.

The finish is generally in clean condition, however, there is a finish loss on the side of the headstock where it came into contact with a guitar hanger.

Apart from this area, there is little significant cosmetic damage, and the bass remains in relatively clean condition for a used instrument.

The neck is straight, and the frets show very little wear, leaving the bass in good playing condition.

If you are looking for a high-end, Japanese-made BB Series bass, this is an excellent choice.
