Hi there! I recently purchased this pedal and, after spending some time with it, I decided to stick with my regular overdrive pedal. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this pedal—it’s simply not what I need for my current setup.

That said, I was genuinely impressed with what it can do. In my experience, it has a really nice compressed character without overwhelming the natural response of the amp. I’m using a cathode-biased amp, and the pedal worked very well with it.

I also paired it with an Analogman delay and was able to get some really nice singing, harmonically rich tones that reminded me of players like Eddie Van Halen, John Petrucci, and Paul Gilbert. If you’re looking for that type of tone and feel, I think this pedal is definitely worth considering.

For the price, I also think it offers a lot of value, especially if its particular sound is what you’re after.

Hopefully this gives you a good idea of what the pedal sounds and feels like. It’s a great pedal—I just decided to go back to what I already know works for my setup.
