Two new models, Phosphor Bronze and Walnut, are being released. Each model is available in two different sizes. Both models come with a soft case.

Walnut snare drums are the delicatessen of the drum world. By selecting the finest walnut wood and processing it by skilled craftsmen in our Osaka lab, we maximize the wide range, rich volume, and unique tone that only walnut can produce.
Walnut wood is available in two sizes: 14 x 6.5 and 14 x 5.5.
It possesses a very unique and delicate sound that matches all kinds of music.


● Shell
With a 7-ply, 7.2mm shell, it delivers a well-balanced snare sound. It features a rich and clear midrange.

●The snare wire is made of ultra-high carbon with increased thickness. By containing more carbon than typical high-carbon wires, it has increased strength and delivers a faster, sharper response.

● Hoop
The JAPAN CUSTOM SNARE comes with SAKAE's signature Mighty Halo. The top edge of the hoop is angled inward, producing a powerful sound with suppressed high-frequency harmonics.

●The reinforced metal used in the lug die-casting process allows for faster sound transmission from top to bottom, resulting in a sharper sound.

● The strainer is extremely sensitive and accurate. Players can freely set the delicate tension they desire.
