1980 Gibson Les Paul Standard - Gold Top

This Gold Top Les Paul just had a professional setup by our experienced tech. All guitars at Point Guitars are thoroughly gone over to ensure they are set up properly and perform to the standard a professional musician would expect.

Weight is only 9.9 lbs. This guitar is all original aside from the pickups. The originals were swapped at one point and period correct Gibson T-Type pickups were installed. Sounds great and is a fantastic player. The bridge and tailpiece have been replaced. Originals not included.

Overall, the condition is very good. This guitar is quite clean with no history or repairs. It's easy to see that this LP has been well taken care of. The frets, fretboard, and neck are in nice shape. It has been refretted and was done well. There's some wear and faint divots on the fretboard in the cowboy chord section.

This guitar flies up and down the neck. The neck shows light wear. A few light dings on the back of the neck. The body shows light play wear. Some dings on the top. Moderate wear along the binding but no issues. Light marks on the front of the headstock. The back of the body is in nice shape with light buckle wear.

Comes with Gibson chainsaw case. Likely not the original but it's in fantastic condition.
