2009 PRS Ted McCarty SC245 Limited Edition Soapbar P90 – McCarty Sunburst

A beautiful and relatively uncommon variation of the PRS SC245, produced as part of the 2009 Ted McCarty Limited Edition series. This guitar combines the short 24.5" scale and substantial mahogany construction of the SC245 with a factory pair of PRS Soapbar/P90 pickups, bound rosewood fretboard and flamed maple Santana headstock. Very rare and PRS only built this model for a short time in 2009.

The Soapbar version is considerably less commonly seen than the 57/08 humbucker-equipped models and gives the guitar a more open, articulate and aggressive character while retaining the warmth and sustain associated with the SC245 platform.

The guitar seen very little playtime and spent most of its time in the past 7 years stored in a climate controlled room. I'm getting ride of some of my guitar collections due to life change. The guitar have some minor dings around strap button in the bottom, bridge pick up and a backside body edge. Hard to picture but they are shown in the last few pictures. Tried my best to capture them.
