Brunswick BTK60KO Grand Auditorium Electro Acoustic – Koa

We’re delighted to welcome Brunswick Guitars to Chordplay.

Brunswick has built a strong reputation for producing affordable acoustic guitars that are comfortable to play, beautifully finished and excellent value for money. We’ve selected the range carefully for the shop, and the BTK60KO is one of the real standouts. These genuinely look and feel a step above, with a stunning gloss koa finish and a specification that makes them equally at home in the living room, rehearsal room or on stage.

Importantly, Brunswick guitars are set up here in the UK before arriving with us, giving each instrument a far better starting point than the typical straight-from-the-box budget acoustic. We then give every guitar a further check at Chordplay before it is offered for sale.

Brunswick BTK60KO

The Brunswick BTK60KO is a beautifully presented Grand Auditorium cutaway electro-acoustic finished in striking gloss koa.

The first thing that hits you is the look of it. The koa top, back and sides give this guitar a really rich, eye-catching appearance, with plenty of depth and character in the grain. In person, it looks fantastic, and the gloss finish really helps bring that figuring to life.

The Grand Auditorium body shape offers a superb middle ground for players wanting comfort, projection and versatility. It sits nicely whether played seated or standing, and the cutaway makes upper fret access far easier when you want to move beyond simple open chords.

Tonally, the BTK60KO has a balanced and articulate voice with a pleasing warmth and a clear, lively top end. It is a very versatile acoustic that suits strumming, picked accompaniment and more delicate fingerstyle playing equally well.

This is an excellent option for someone moving on from their first acoustic, but it would also suit any player wanting an attractive and capable stage-ready electro-acoustic without pushing into much higher price brackets.

Built-In Electronics

The BTK60KO comes fitted with a pickup and preamp system that makes it ready to plug straight into an acoustic amp, PA or recording setup.

The onboard preamp provides:

• Volume control

• Bass EQ

• Middle EQ

• Treble EQ

• Presence control

• Phase switch

• Built-in tuner

• LED display

That makes it a very practical guitar for live use, while still being a lovely acoustic instrument in its own right.

The dark stained mahogany neck feels comfortable and dependable in the hand, while the composite technical wood fingerboard and bridge keep the look smart and consistent. Enclosed die-cast machineheads complete the package and offer reliable tuning stability.

At £229, the BTK60KO offers a lot of guitar for the money, combining standout looks, great usability and full stage-ready electronics.
