Animals Pedal Custom Illustrated CCV coalowl #01

Animals Pedal Car Crush Chorus / Vibe – coalowl Artwork

Featuring distinctive custom artwork by popular illustrator coalowl, the Animals Pedal Car Crush Chorus / Vibe combines an eye-catching design with modulation inspired by the legendary Uni-Vibe sound that helped define the psychedelic music of the late 1960s.

The pedal produces a deep, swirling modulation with a distinctive sense of movement and rotation. Compared with earlier versions, its overall tonal range has been expanded and fine-tuned to work well with a wider variety of guitars and amplifiers.

Pair it with a classic fuzz or overdrive for an instantly recognizable ’60s psychedelic rock character, or combine it with spacious modern reverbs to create atmospheric, dreamlike textures. Its simple controls make it easy to incorporate rich vintage-inspired modulation into almost any setup.

Staff Recommendation

The contrast between coalowl’s playful, instantly recognizable artwork and the pedal’s authentic vintage-inspired vibe sound is a big part of this model’s appeal.

Place it after a fuzz or other drive pedal and it can quickly produce the deep, swirling atmosphere associated with late-’60s psychedelic rock. Its compact size also makes it easy to add to a pedalboard, making it an excellent choice for players looking for an accessible way to incorporate classic vibe sounds into their setup.
