Roland JV-80 Multi-Timbral Synthesizer

Classic early-1990s Roland digital synthesizer, fully working and tested.

The JV-80 was one of the early instruments in Roland’s highly successful JV family and offers a large selection of PCM-based sounds, multitimbral operation and plenty of hands-on editing from the front-panel sliders. It also supports Roland expansion boards/cards for adding further sounds. Sweetwater

Features include:

• 61 full-size velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch
• 28-note polyphony
• 192 factory/user patches
• 8-part multitimbral operation
• 8 front-panel parameter sliders
• Built-in chorus and reverb
• Pitch/modulation bender
• MIDI In / Out / Thru
• Stereo outputs and headphone output
• Pedal connections
• PCM/Data card slots
• Compatible with Roland JV expansion options
• Made in the early 1990s
• Fully working and tested

Cosmetically it shows general age-related wear, dust and surface marks, as can be seen clearly in the photographs. Nothing unusual for an instrument of this age.

A solid example of an increasingly classic Roland workstation-era synth, ideal for vintage Roland sounds, studio use, MIDI setups or collection.
