Tokai LS-101QZ ~TK~ #2653108 [4.05kg]

A rare, off-catalog spot-production model featuring a stunning quilted maple top and open-coil humbuckers!

[About This Instrument]

This limited-run model features a gorgeous quilted maple top finished in a vivid "TK Burst" hue, beautifully framed by tortoise shell-pattern body binding for an elegant, high-end aesthetic.

Weighed at an ideal 4.05 kg (8.93 lbs) for a Les Paul style guitar, it strikes a perfect balance—delivering thick, authoritative low-end resonance and rich, long sustain without feeling excessively heavy.

[Sound & Pickups]

Equipped with two Japanese-made Tokai original PAF-Vintage MK2 open-coil humbuckers, this guitar delivers exceptional clarity, bite, and direct response.

- Clean Tone: Thick, lustrous, and clear without sounding muddy, offering smooth, mellow tones on the neck pickup.

- Overdrive Tone: Unleashes the classic, chewy midrange and fat punch characteristic of a great Single-Cut guitar. Highly responsive to picking dynamics and volume knob adjustments, making it versatile across blues, rock, and fusion genres.

The electronic assembly utilizes premium components, including Sprague Orange Drop capacitors and a Switchcraft output jack.

[About Tokai Guitars - Handmade Quality]

Crafted in Hamamatsu, Japan by highly skilled luthiers, Tokai adheres to a traditional handmade construction philosophy. Every guitar undergoes rigorous hand-fitting and inspection, resulting in outstanding acoustic resonance, comfortable neck feel, and superior Japanese craftsmanship.
