ESP LTD M-400HT - Scarlet Metallic Finish #1082

The ESP LTD M-400HT takes the fast, flat-topped M/Mirage platform and loads it with professional-level hardware, electronics, and construction. Finished in Scarlet Metallic, it has a sharp, modern look with black hardware, black binding, and a reverse matching-finish headstock.

The M-400HT uses bolt-on construction at a 25.5" scale, pairing a mahogany body with a three-piece roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Its Extra Thin U neck profile and 24 extra-jumbo frets are built for fast, comfortable playing, while the hardtail setup keeps the feel direct and stable for heavy rhythm work and precise lead playing.

A classic EMG 81/85 active humbucker set provides the high-output response this guitar is built around. The EMG 81 in the bridge delivers tight attack and definition for aggressive riffs and chugs, while the EMG 85 in the neck offers a fuller, smoother voice for leads and cleaner tones.

LTD locking tuners and a fixed string-thru-body bridge round out a straightforward, dependable setup designed for modern heavy playing.
