The Guild Starfire I Bass is a modern take on the traditional Starfire Bass, offering an affordable model with the features you need in a contemporary hollow-body bass.
With a 38mm body thickness, a 17-fret joint for easy access to the lower frets, a 781mm scale length, and a 38mm nut width, the Starfire I Bass is a compact and accessible model for young players and those seeking freedom on stage. The Tune-o-matic bridge, which allows for stable tuning and easy adjustment, and the beautiful harp tailpiece carry on Guild's classic aesthetic. Equipped with original pickups using Alnico 5 magnets and nickel covers for enhanced noise resistance, the semi-hollow body's woody tone, combined with volume and tone controls, allows for a wide range of tones, from modern, cutting bass tones to woody, rounded vintage tones. The volume knob features a push-pull vintage switch function, allowing switching to parallel wiring similar to vintage hollow-body basses, rolling off the low frequencies to give the sound presence and airiness.
There are minor scratches and light dents, and the wood around the peg mounting area has been repaired, but it is perfectly playable.
The truss rod has plenty of adjustment range, and the neck is in good condition.
Weight ≈ 3.16 kg
Accessories: Original hard case (one latch is damaged)
