Schecter Stiletto Custom-5 Electric Bass Gloss Natural

The Stiletto Custom-5 delivers a slim, fast neck profile with its thin 'C' shape and 35" scale that balances extended range with comfortable playability across all five strings. The mahogany body topped with flamed maple and walnut presents a visually striking instrument that feels substantial without excess weight. Built in Indonesia with a 6 bolt-on neck joint, this bass combines modern hardware and active electronics for articulate, punchy tone.

Playability & Neck Design

The thin 'C' neck profile measures .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th, enabling quick position shifts and reduced hand fatigue during extended sessions. A 35" scale accommodates the low B string with proper tension while the 16" fretboard radius and 24 X-Jumbo frets support both smooth legato playing and precise articulation, all topped with a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut measuring 1.771" wide.

Tone & Electronics

Dual EMG 40HZ pickups paired with a 2-band active EMG EQ (Master Volume/Blend configuration) deliver tight, focused low-end and responsive mids ideal for modern bass styles. The 9-volt clip-in battery compartment powers the active circuit, and the satin gold hardware complements the natural finish while the S-Tek Dexterity bridge ensures stable tuning and precise intonation.
