Taylor Guitars has grown rapidly since the 2000s, becoming a world-leading acoustic guitar brand thanks to its innovative guitar construction. It enjoys immense popularity, particularly in the US, where it's used by professional musicians. This particular model is a hybrid, aiming to fuse electric and acoustic guitars, employing an electric guitar-like approach. The "T5z Classic" features a semi-hollow body with a Hawaiian koa top, sapele body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, original black satin tuners, and an original pickup system. The T5z is a hybrid electric/acoustic model with a "thinline body/full hollow body." Compared to the standard T5, the body is slimmer, resulting in a feel closer to an electric guitar. Due to its hollow body, it offers more volume and airy tone than a solid-body guitar. Its excellent balance and quick attack make it ideal for those who frequently use intricate phrases. It's a hybrid guitar, offering the playability of an electric guitar and the tone of an acoustic. The pickup system features specially designed T5 Electronics components. It incorporates a front pickup hidden beneath the fretboard at the neck joint, a bridge pickup in the rear position, and a body sensor positioned on the underside of the top below the bridge. A 5-way selector on the side of the body allows for pickup position and mix selection, while the Master Volume, Bass, and Treble controls on the top of the body allow for output adjustments. This is a versatile and excellent system. A hybrid guitar with an acoustic-like feel that electric guitar players will find comfortable. Please experience its playability and superior usability for yourself.
