The Suhr Pete Thorn Signature in Garnet Red is a beautifully refined Pete Thorn SS Standard, right-handed, serial 01-SIG-0029, designed with a focused balance of character, comfort, and versatility. Its chambered two-piece Genuine Mahogany body is topped with a two-piece 3/16" Plain Maple cap, finished in a striking Garnet Red over Black with a high-gloss finish. Arm, hand, and tummy contours provide a comfortable playing experience, while the chambered construction keeps the instrument at a balanced 7 lbs 10 oz. A clean aesthetic is maintained with no pickguard, scraped binding, Chrome hardware, and Black Satin cavity covers.

The Mahogany neck features a Black satin finish and an Even C Slim profile measuring .800" to .880", offering a smooth and comfortable feel across the neck. The Indian Rosewood fingerboard has a 10" to 14" compound radius with a standard roll, 22 stainless steel jumbo frets, Mother of Pearl face dots and side dots, and no scalloping. The original Black headstock has a gloss finish, Mother of Pearl Suhr logo, Pete Thorn Signature engraving, a 1.650" white Tusq nut, and Suhr Locking tuners in Chrome for dependable tuning stability.

Tonally, this guitar is equipped with a Raw Nickel Thornbucker in the neck and a Raw Nickel Thornbucker Plus in the bridge, giving it a broad and expressive range from warm, articulate neck tones to powerful and focused bridge sounds. The five-way Black blade selector is paired with Volume and Tone controls, with a Push-Pull option that places the bridge pickup in parallel mode for an additional clear and open tonal character. The Wilkinson WVS 130 two-post bridge features locking saddles and a steel block in Chrome, complementing the guitar's responsive tremolo system and performance-oriented design.

Completed with a Chrome side jack, Chrome knobs and strap buttons, rear-routed electronics, and a Standard Black Satin tremolo cavity cover, this Pete Thorn Signature is a carefully considered instrument from top to bottom. Strung with .010 to .046 gauge strings and set up for E Standard tuning, it comes housed in its Softshell Case. From its Garnet Red Maple top and chambered Mahogany body to its Thornbucker pickup combination and refined neck profile, this Suhr brings together striking looks, effortless playability, and a versatile voice worthy of the Pete Thorn name.
