Ibanez “EHB” Ergonomic Headless Bass / Ultra-Modern Fretless Bass

Originally created in 2020 as the ultimate ergonomic headless bass, the EHB series was introduced for modern bassists whose desired sounds, playing genres, and performance scenes are increasingly diversified.

The EHB1005F is a fretless model featuring a Richlite fretboard—an environmentally conscious material with excellent acoustic characteristics for instruments and an exceptional aesthetic design.

Responding to the highest demand from bassists since the announcement of the EHB series, this fretless model is presented with an unprecedented approach: a "blue fretboard."

• Richlite fretboard (fretless) in "Blue Canyon" finish w/ Luminescent side dot inlays
• Ergonomically designed EHB body shape that fits the player with perfect balance whether standing or seated
• Body contours designed for maximum playing comfort and chambered construction for a more tactile body resonance
• Sculpted body back behind the treble horn for easier access to higher frets
• American Basswood body
• 5pc Roasted Maple/Walnut neck w/ Graphite reinforcement rods
• Bartolini BH2 pickups
• Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ w/ EQ bypass switch (powered by one 9V battery)
• MR5HS Mono-rail bridge / Custom-designed headpiece for EHB
