$6700 - Priced fairly based on its condition and current market value, but I’m open to reasonable offers.

This guitar belonged to my uncle, who recently passed away. He was the finest musician I have ever known, with an exceptional ear and a deep appreciation for truly outstanding instruments. He selected his guitars carefully and knew exactly what quality should look, feel, and sound like. Because joint replacements in his hand made playing increasingly difficult, this guitar was played very little and has been exceptionally well cared for. It is in excellent condition and offers its next owner the rare opportunity to acquire a beautiful instrument with very little use and a meaningful history.

For sale is an exceptional 2021 Collings 470 JL Julian Lage Signature, serial #47021041, finished in beautiful Antiqued Sunburst and equipped with the original Bigsby B3 vibrato.

Developed by Collings in collaboration with Julian Lage, the 470 JL is a fully hollow electric built around a solid Honduran mahogany body, maple laminate top and Honduran mahogany neck. The model uses a trestle-block construction designed to retain the responsiveness of a hollow instrument while providing excellent control and articulation.

The guitar features an ebony fingerboard, 24 7/8” scale, 12” radius and the outstanding Ron Ellis Ellisonic pickups developed for the 470 JL. The factory Bigsby B3 completes the vintage-inspired design.

The Antiqued Sunburst finish is intentionally aged by Collings, so the factory-created checking, scuffing and aged appearance are part of the original finish treatment rather than damage.
