Blue Microphones Blue Bottle Rocket with B6 capsule 2004-2006

Up for sale is a premium, interchangeable studio microphone bundle featuring the Blue Microphones Bottle Rocket Stage 1 solid-state power unit paired with the B6 Bottle Cap capsule. Both pieces come securely stored in their respective original, custom Blue Microphones wooden presentation boxes. About the Sound & Setup: The Bottle Rocket Stage 1 employs a transformerless, Class-A discrete FET amplifier circuit that delivers an exceptionally low self-noise floor (<7.5dB) and clean headroom. By bypassing the standard B8 capsule and upgrading directly to the legendary B6 Large Diaphragm capsule, you are getting Blue’s absolute finest vocal sound. The B6 is an edge-terminated, dual-backplate design renowned for its modern, "larger-than-life" sonic footprint, silky high-frequency presence, and warm lows. It is a premier choice for world-class lead vocals, voiceover, acoustic guitars, and piano. Collector Note & Heritage (Serial No. 45-00698): The B6 capsule features serial number 45-00698, identifying it as an early, highly sought-after triple-digit production unit from Blue's golden era. It was meticulously hand-assembled and hand-tuned at the original Westlake Village, California, USA facility. Pro-audio engineers highly prize these early American-made capsules for their superior gold-sputtering on the Mylar diaphragms and ultra-tight tolerances compared to later overseas production runs. What’s Included: • Blue Bottle Rocket Stage 1 Microphone Body • Blue B6 Large Diaphragm Cardioid Capsule (Serial: 45-00698) • Original Wooden Case for Stage 1 Body • Original Wooden Case for B6 Capsule Condition.
