Sterling by Music Man Axis – Lava Burst

Classic Music Man-inspired performance with a stunning modern finish.

The Sterling by Music Man Axis delivers the unmistakable feel and performance of the legendary Axis design in a player-friendly package. Finished in a striking Lava Burst, this Axis features a quilted maple veneer top and matching headstock that gives it serious stage presence.

Under the hood, the Axis pairs a poplar body with a roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard, providing a smooth, comfortable playing experience with excellent stability. The 12" radius and 22-fret neck are equally at home playing chunky rhythm parts, screaming leads, or everything in between.

A pair of Alnico humbuckers provides plenty of punch, warmth, and clarity, while the simple one-volume/3-way control layout keeps things intuitive. When it's time to get aggressive, the double-locking tremolo delivers the tuning stability needed for bends, vibrato, and dive bombs.

Whether you're a rock, blues, hard rock, or modern player, the Sterling by Music Man Axis offers serious performance, versatile tone, and head-turning looks without the premium price tag.
