Schecter John Browne Tao-7 LH guitar in Ozone Burst

Schecter John Browne Tao-7 LH in Ozone Burst

The Schecter John Browne Tao-7 LH is a purpose-built seven-string designed for extended-range playing with a distinctly comfortable, modern feel. The ultra-thin neck profile and contoured body deliver hours of fatigue-free playing, while the 27-inch scale provides clarity and separation across all seven strings without sacrificing responsiveness. Built for serious left-handed players who demand professional-grade hardware and articulate tone in a modern metal and progressive context.

Playability & Feel

Built on a 27-inch scale with an ultra-thin "U" shaped neck measuring 19mm at the first fret and 20mm at the 12th, this left-handed instrument balances speed and comfort across extended sessions. The Ebony fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets and 16-inch radius supports aggressive playing and clean chord work alike, while Luminlay side dot markers provide visibility in low-light settings.

Tone & Electronics

The pairing of Schecter USA Colossus bridge and Chaosbreaker neck pickups delivers articulate highs and muscular lows suited to modern metal and progressive styles. A push-pull coil-split master volume and 3-way pickup selector provide tonal flexibility beyond the standard setup, allowing quick switching between full-power and split-coil voices.
