Schecter Riot-5 Session Electric Bass in Aged Natural Gloss Finish

The Riot-5 Session delivers a comfortable, modern playing experience with its 35-inch scale and C-shaped maple neck that feels balanced across extended sessions. The Aged Natural Satin finish presents a refined aesthetic while the bolt-on construction ensures reliable sustain and resonance. This five-string instrument targets working bassists and gigging players who demand both playability and tonal versatility from a compact, well-engineered platform.

Playability & Neck Design

The 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets and 12-inch fingerboard radius create a modern playing surface suited to both fingerstyle and pick techniques, with Ebony Side Block inlays providing precise fret location markers. Neck dimensions—.826 inches at the 1st fret and .905 inches at the 12th fret—yield a comfortable grip that transitions smoothly across the extended 35-inch scale, while the 1.771-inch nut width and Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut support clean string separation and stable intonation.

Tone & Electronics

The pairing of EMG 40J neck pickup and EMG 40DC bridge pickup with Master Volume, Blend, and 3-Band EMG Active EQ provides comprehensive tonal shaping across modern and classic bass voices. The 18-volt active electronics deliver high output and responsive dynamics, making this bass equally at home in rock, funk, and contemporary styles.
