Note that this Epiphone has authentic Gibson Burstbucker pickups in it, and they are hot, killer sounding pickups. The cherry color is hard to find, and this guitar has been discontinued by Epiphone.

This is NOT the regular Epiphone SG Standard. This Les Paul SG standard is a higher quality instrument with Gibson electronics.

Condition:
I bought this brand new in late 2025, and it has sat in its case every since. It is in mint condition and has probably been played around 30 minutes total. The plastic is still on the pickguard and neck tenon cover.

There are a few small issues that this came with from the factory/shop. They are:

• On the 5th fret, there is a small blemish that definitely seems it happened at the factory. I honestly can't tell if this was a chip out that was glued back down or if there is just some clear glue that dropped onto the fret board (perhaps from gluing the inlays or frets). I can feel it just barely rise up from the rest of the fretboard with my fingernail. It's possible just a little sanding would just flatten it out. I never bothered with it, as you cannot feel it when playing and barely notice it visually. This is pictured.
• On the 9th fret, there is a small dot on the inlay. Don't know if this could be buffed out either or if it's in the inlay itself.
• On the 17th fret on the high E string, there is a high fret somewhere that's noticed when bending. This should be easily solved, but I again never messed with it.

Other than that, this guitar is flawless. It has a satin finish, so there may be some small blemishes, but I didn't see anything upon close inspection. The action is nice, and the pickups are killer. Note that the pickups in this are genuine Gibson Burstbuckers.

Reason for selling:
I like SGs and bought this on a whim because Epiphone started discontinuing this, and this was one of the last ones I could find brand new. However, I am downsizing.

Storage conditions:
It's been stored in a smoke-free and humidity-controlled home.

The guitar will ship in the pictured case and then be placed in a standard guitar box with adequate packaging.
