2023 Fender Gold Foil Jazzmaster in Shoreline Gold, in excellent condition and still wearing the factory plastic on the pickups and the back plate, which tells you how gently it's been treated. The Gold Foil Collection was Fender's nod to the mail order garage rock guitars of the sixties, and it throws out most of the usual Jazzmaster recipe in the process. Mahogany body instead of alder, three gold foil mini humbuckers instead of the wide singles, and a Jaguar style switch plate with an individual on/off slide for each pickup, so you can run any combination you want including all three together. Maple neck in the '60s C profile with a matching painted headcap, bound ebony fingerboard with a 9.5 inch radius, white pearloid blocks, and 21 narrow tall frets. Jazzmaster bridge with Mustang saddles under a Bigsby licensed B50, plus the 4 ply tortoiseshell guard and aged white witch hat knobs. It's warm and thick where a normal Jazzmaster is glassy, and the mahogany gives it noticeably more sustain. There are some marks along the back edge of the body that you can see in the photos. The guitar is otherwise perfect. Comes with the Fender gig bag and the factory case candy.
