A refined Grand Concert that pairs rare, highly sought-after tonewoods with Taylor’s most player-focused design details. This Builder’s Edition 912ce features a solid sinker redwood top over solid Honduran rosewood back and sides, delivering a sophisticated, harmonically rich voice with exceptional comfort and responsiveness.

Tone & Voice

Solid Honduran rosewood produces warm, textured lows, clear trebles, and complex, blooming overtones with excellent clarity and note separation. The hand-selected striped sinker redwood top—reclaimed from logs submerged for decades in California riverbeds—adds cedar-like warmth, outstanding touch sensitivity, and increased headroom and dynamic range. Taylor’s V-Class bracing further enhances volume, sustain, and harmonic coherence, resulting in a guitar that feels both intimate and powerful.

Ideal for fingerstyle, light-to-moderate strumming, studio work, and nuanced performance where detail and balance matter.
