A rare and obscure sampler from the 80s, most famously used by Yellow Magic Orchestra on their album Technodelic. You can hear it in the linked track, along with a photo of their unit.

This particular unit comes from Japan and requires a 110V transformer. It comes with the Realbox, which appears to be an external controller that can trigger the unit and adjust some extra parameters--I haven't figured out how it works quite yet.

The unit samples 0.8 seconds of audio and has a continuous pitch knob. It can be triggered by audio or CV in. It has that unique texture you only get from vintage digital samplers--think SP1200 or Akai S950. If you like Oneohtrix Point Never, you'll love this. Can yield very unique results if you feed drum or guitar audio into the trigger in and mess with the Key In Width knob.

Comes with original documentation in Japanese, sample cassette, extra PCBs.
