The Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Deluxe Closet Classic in 2 Tone Sunburst is a stunning celebration of the original Stratocaster, bringing the character of the early 1950s design together with the precision and artistry of Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt craftsmanship. With a lightweight 6 lb 15 oz two-piece off-center ash body, lacquer finish, and carefully aged Closet Classic appointments, this instrument captures the look, feel, and spirit of a beautifully preserved vintage Stratocaster while offering the refinement of a modern masterbuilt guitar.

Its Flame AAAAA Maple neck is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer and paired with a maple fingerboard featuring a 7.25 to 9.50 inch compound radius and 21 frets. The 25.5 inch scale retains the familiar Fender feel, while the 70th Anniversary Stratocaster neck shape provides a distinctly vintage-inspired profile. Micarta black position inlays add a subtle contrast to the maple, while the Closet Classic Gold hardware and Vintage Fender Closet Classic Gold tuning machines complete the instrument's elegant aged appearance.

Three Josefina Hand-Wound '54 Stratocaster Closet Classic pickups deliver the unmistakable voice of an early Stratocaster, with clear highs, articulate mids, responsive dynamics, and the expressive character that has defined the model for seven decades. The five-position blade switch provides bridge, bridge and middle, middle, middle and neck, and neck pickup selections, with a Master Volume, Tone 1 for the neck pickup, and Tone 2 for the bridge pickup offering familiar and intuitive control.

Finished with a '54 to '58 Stratocaster White pickguard, white control knobs, white switch tip, vintage Strat tremolo, and a classic 2 Tone Sunburst lacquer finish, this Masterbuilt 70th Anniversary Stratocaster is an evocative tribute to Fender's earliest era. Supplied with a hardshell case and Fender .010 to .046 strings, it is a beautifully balanced combination of historic inspiration, exceptional materials, hand-wound pickup craftsmanship, and Custom Shop artistry, created for players and collectors who appreciate the enduring magic of the original Stratocaster.
