Fender Stratocaster Special Edition American Series Stratocaster - Emerald Green Transparent

🎸 2000 Fender Special Edition American Series Stratocaster — Emerald Green Transparent — AIMM Limited Run

Excellent Vintage Condition • Ash Body • All Original • OHSC + Tremolo Arm

Offered here is a rarely seen 2000 Fender Special Edition American Series Stratocaster in Emerald Green Transparent over ash.

Produced exclusively for AIMM dealers—the Alliance of Independent Music Merchants—this Special Edition was never part of Fender’s regular production catalog. Fender reportedly produced only 150 examples in each available finish, making this striking Emerald Green Transparent version especially difficult to find today.

The transparent finish allows the attractive ash grain to remain clearly visible across the front and back, giving the guitar substantially more visual depth than a standard opaque-finished Stratocaster. A Fender Special Edition decal appears on the back of the headstock.

Serial number: DZ0069903
Made in Corona, California, USA

Features:

• Ash body with Emerald Green Transparent polyurethane finish
• Tinted maple neck with modern C profile
• Rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges
• 9.5-inch fingerboard radius
• 22 medium-jumbo frets
• Bi-Flex truss rod and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment
• Vintage-style Fender spaghetti headstock logo
• Fender/Schaller sealed tuning machines

• Delta-Tone electronics with no-load tone control
• Two-point American Stratocaster bridge with block saddles
• Parchment plastics
• Fender Corona, California neck plate
• Original molded Fender hardshell case

The Delta-Tone system combines traditional Stratocaster clarity and chime with a stronger bridge pickup. Turning the second tone control to 10 removes that control from the circuit, providing a slightly more direct and open response from the middle and bridge pickups.

Condition:

The guitar is in excellent vintage condition for a 26-year-old instrument, showing light scratches, small marks and other honest evidence of careful use. The transparent green finish remains rich and vibrant, with excellent ash-grain definition.

There are no known structural issues, modifications or repairs. The hardware and electronics are believed to be original, and all controls operate properly. Please examine the photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description.

A distinctive and highly collectible U.S.-made Stratocaster for players who appreciate early American Series instruments, ash bodies and uncommon factory finishes.
