For sale is my beloved Vintage Reissue Strat from 1988 (Corona plant) in vintage white. The guitar has been looked after. I have been the second owner, buying it in 1991. The guitar has been serviced various times through its life. In my subjective opinion, it plays like a dream and sounds great. There are four noteworthy uprades: (1) The original nut (included in the sale) has been replaced with a high-quality bone nut by an experienced luthier. He used this opportunity to adjust the nut slots a tiny bit to reduce the risk of bend outs, and I can confirm this worked--bend outs are a common problem of this model due to the slim neck profile. The change is not visible to the eye, but it feels great. (2) Caveat shielding has been applied to the body caveats--you will appreciate the reduced noise levels. (3) an additional spring tree has been added for extra tuning stability; (4) the bridge pickup has been connected to the second tone control--a change that can be easily reversed if not wanted.

I tried to take photos in different rooms and light conditions to show the cosmetic state of the guitar. (Photos taken with mobile phone, if you like to view the guitar in person you are welcome to do so.) Potentiometer stamp: 137 8827 (137 = CTS, 88 = 1988, 27 = 27th week of 1988). In my view, the guitar has aged gracefully and the nitro finish has nicely blended in. Original tweed case included. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
