Fender Japan was born in the early 1980s by incorporating Japanese-made guitars. For a long time, it was affectionately known as "Fenjapa," and after many twists and turns, Japanese-made Fenders are still loved all over the world today.

This time, we have the classic mini guitar "ST-CHAMP," an early model.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 2.9kg. The body is made of synthetic material and has been downsized, but it beautifully captures the design of a Stratocaster. There are signs of use such as scratches, dents, and tarnishing of the metal parts, but it is in relatively good condition. The tip of the tremolo arm is missing.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard. The later "ST-CHAMP 10" model has a short scale (the same length as a Mustang), so this earlier model, being even smaller, could be said to have a more mini-guitar-like structure. The frets and nut show only slight wear, and although there is some pitch inaccuracy due to the scale, there is currently no extreme buzzing or dead spots, and playability is good. The nut width is approximately 38.4mm. It has a very sleek neck shape. There is no truss rod.

[Electrical System]
The controls consist of [1 Volume / 1 Tone / Power Selector Switch (OFF / ON / DISTORTION)]. It has one DRAGSTER-SC humbucker pickup. It has speaker output so no amp is needed, and it also has distortion, making it more than capable as a mini guitar/travel guitar.
