Simmons SDS9 6-Channel Drum Synthesizer 1985 - Black
This cool old drum machine needs some love. I've gotten it partially working, but I don't really have time to finish the project. Several op amps died and needed to be replaced, there may be one or two more that still need to be swapped. One or two of the CEM voice chips have also failed. Replacements are available from ALFA for a reasonable price now, though.
Most of the cheap plastic shaft potentiometers have snapped and several of them are dirty as well. Seems like it would be worth it to replace them all.
The digital side seemed to be working as far as I can tell and the sounds I got out of it during testing/repairs were nice. It responded to midi and button presses well.
