A comfortable concert-body acoustic-electric designed for players who want rich rosewood warmth, balanced projection, and dependable stage-ready performance in a clean traditional finish.

• Concert cutaway body design offers comfortable feel with focused, articulate response

• Rosewood back and sides add warmth, depth, and rich harmonic overtones
• Cutaway body provides smooth upper fret access
• System66 preamp and undersaddle piezo pickup deliver reliable amplified tone

The Yamaha FSX830C combines the comfort and balance of Yamaha’s concert-body design with upgraded tonewoods and dependable onboard electronics. Its smaller body shape feels responsive, controlled, and easy to play while still producing impressive projection, making it a strong choice for singer-songwriters, fingerstyle players, and live performers who prefer a more compact acoustic feel.

A solid spruce top gives the FSX830C crisp articulation and dynamic response, while rosewood back and sides add deeper lows, sparkling highs, and layered harmonic richness that create a more detailed acoustic voice than the standard FSX models. Yamaha’s scalloped bracing design helps the guitar feel lively and expressive without losing balance or clarity.

For plugged-in performance, the FSX830C features Yamaha’s System66 preamp paired with an undersaddle piezo pickup system. The controls are straightforward and stage-friendly, delivering natural amplified acoustic tone for rehearsal, recording, and live performance situations. The Natural finish keeps the look classic and understated while allowing the craftsmanship and wood character to remain the focus.
