The Yamaha JR2 builds on the success of the JR1 with upgraded cosmetic styling and a warm acoustic response inspired by Yamaha’s classic FG Series guitars. Its compact 3/4-size design makes it an excellent choice for travel, songwriting, practice, or younger players looking for a comfortable steel-string acoustic.

The spruce top provides clarity and balanced projection, while the mahogany UTF finish back and sides add warmth and a vintage-inspired appearance. The shorter scale length also makes the JR2 easier to handle while maintaining a familiar acoustic guitar feel.
