The Yamaha CPX600 combines the comfort and reliability of Yamaha’s stage-focused acoustic-electric design with the fuller voice of a medium jumbo body. Compared to the slimmer APX series, the CPX600 offers greater acoustic volume, deeper low-end response, and a broader tonal character while still maintaining excellent live performance control.
The spruce top delivers balanced clarity and articulation, while the locally sourced tonewood back and sides help produce a warm and versatile acoustic response suited for singer-songwriters, strummers, and modern live players.
Equipped with Yamaha’s SYSTEM65 preamp and SRT piezo pickup system, the CPX600 provides natural amplified tone with intuitive onboard EQ and tuner controls for dependable stage and rehearsal performance.
