Benson Amps Monarch Reverb Plus in Premium Finish Miss Lee and Wheat Grill Electric All Tube Guitar Amp The Benson Amps Monarch Reverb Plus – Vintage-inspired tone with versatile power scaling All-Tube Versatility with Power Scaling Innovation

The Benson Monarch Reverb Plus builds on the beloved Monarch Reverb platform and adds an exciting twist: full Chimera tone stack control and a unique tube-driven power scaling circuit. Designed with a 6L6 tube acting as a voltage regulator, this amplifier delivers everything from lush harmonic saturation at low volume to bold, uncompressed tones at full output. Whether you're playing quietly in the studio or cranking it on stage, this amp adapts seamlessly to your dynamic needs.

Premium Components and Point-to-Point Construction

True to Benson’s reputation for boutique craftsmanship, the Monarch Reverb Plus is built with meticulous point-to-point wiring on terminal strips, no circuit boards, turrets, or eyelets here. Every component is carefully selected, including Mallory 150M capacitors and custom Soursound transformers, ensuring tonal integrity and long-lasting performance. The dovetailed pine cabinet houses all this with elegance and resonance.

Tube-Driven Reverb and Classic Chimera Tone Stack

This model features a footswitchable, tube-driven reverb circuit powered by a JJ 12DW7, offering smooth, dynamic ambience that integrates beautifully with the amp’s core sound. Instead of the Monarch Reverb's simple voice switch, the Reverb Plus boasts the full Chimera tone stack, giving you more nuanced control over bass, mids, and treble—an ideal setup for players who want to fine-tune their tone with precision.

Incredible Power Flexibility for Any Environment

One of the standout features of the Monarch Reverb Plus is its power scaling design. At its heart, a JJ 6L6GC regulates voltage while preserving plate resistance, allowing for organic sag and harmonic richness at any output level. You can dial the wattage down to a whisper-quiet half watt or ramp it up to a roaring 15 watts, with the option to bypass the 6L6 for pure solid-state rectification. This flexibility makes it a powerhouse in both stage and studio environments.

Custom Cabinet and Speaker Design

Wrapped in the eye-catching Premium Miss Lee covering and a Wheat grill, this amp is as stunning visually as it is sonically. The enclosure is a dovetailed pine cabinet for a resonant, vintage-style sound, while the Benson Custom Ceramic speaker delivers tight, punchy clarity across the entire tonal spectrum. Every detail, from the layout to the speaker output configuration, is crafted with the working musician in mind.
