1983 Yamaha Japan SG-1600 Double Cutaway (Wine Red)

Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. The SG-1600 was one of the revised models from the mid 1980's and was designed to be a high end offering. 
Weighing in at 4.3kg's (fairly light for an SG), it's built with a mahogany body, maple top, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (12" radius, 628mm scale length, 43mm nut width). 
Loaded with the original Yamaha tailpiece, bridge and tuners along with the original Spinex pickups with coil split push pots.
Well used vintage condition as pictured with a blemishes, some clouding to the finish and general signs of cosmetic wear from use, no structural repairs or breaks and it appears to be completely original. Received a professional setup and service including a fret polish and electronics service. Frets are in solid condition for it's age and have life left.
