Up for sale is this classic Gibson SG Standard in Ebony finish. This is a pure rock machine: lightweight, aggressive, and with that unmistakable bite only a real SG can deliver.

The guitar is completely original in every part. It has been played and loved, so if you look closely you’ll find some natural signs of wear, but nothing serious—no heavy dings and absolutely no headstock breaks or structural repairs.

I’ve just had it professionally set up in Standard tuning with a fresh set of 10-46 strings. It plays like a dream with a very comfortable action. Also, this is a particularly light one, weighing in at only 3.1kg—perfect for long sets without killing your shoulder.

Please note: I no longer have the original hardshell case, so the guitar comes with a gig bag for safe transport. I’ve priced it accordingly to reflect this.
