Original 1964 Gibson ES330TDC in great condition. For anyone serious about owning a genuine, golden era Gibson, this an absolute must and with prices on vintage guitars rising, a fabulous investment. This a lovely example that was acquired from Vintage and Rare in Bath and owned and restored by Huw Price; the full restoration with pictures was documented and featured in Guitar Magazine in 2019. Features the 1964 'goldilocks' neck, which many consider to be the perfect Gibson neck profile. The guitar has featured on a number of recordings and I had it professionally and sympathetically re fretted to its original specification. Its super light weight and plays beautifully with a loud, resonant acoustic voice making it the perfect all rounder. The pickups and pots are 100% original and sound a million dollars; I tried seven ES330's before settling on this one as the P90s are well balanced and offer a great vintage output that excel across a range of genres and styles. While there is some lacquer missing from the back of the neck and a mark on the top about the size of a 5 pence piece, the finish is in good shape for a guitar of this age and has a wonderful, characterful feel. The neck and body are structurally sound with no breaks or repairs and while the pickguard has some signs of warping a repro could be added if so desired.
