Lovies Guitars is Excited to offer up this 1986 Heritage Eagle Archtop Guitar in a Classic Sunburst Finish! Introduced in 1986, the Eagle was the workhorse of the Heritage Archtop line. Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old Gibson plant, the Eagle is equivalent in size to the L-5C and L-7C and shares the same body size, scale length and bracing. A classic single pickup jazz box, the Eagle's solid carved mahogany body is unique among modern jazz guitars, a welcome alternative to the laminate instruments usually seen in its price range. Designed with elegant simplicity, this instrument has a clear, balanced and focused voice, with the warmth and depth you'd expect from the solid carved tonewood. The action is smooth and low over a gentle D profile neck with excellent original fretwork, and a fresh high precision setup. Unavailable since 2009, the Heritage Eagle remains a true best buy in a genuine US built pro-quality archtop guitar! This Beautiful instrument is in Excellent Shape, with just a couple minor finish marks near f-hole, a couple minor indents on the right side body, a bit of super light buckle wear on the back and an extra screw hole under the pickguard, easy 9/10! We believe everything to be Original. No Breaks, Cracks or Repairs! Includes a Gibson USA Hard-Shell Case! SEE more pics at our site!!!!!
