Pollard Syndrum Quad

As you probably know, this is a very rare piece of kit. The Quad is king of all the Pollard Syndrums. Made famous by the Cars, Bozio, Porcaro, Queen, Little River Band. You can’t get this tone anywhere else.

This synth was owned by David Eagle who recorded and toured a lot in 80’s, 90’s, 00’s. His previous ownership of this unit is evidenced by a sticker on the bottom of the unit. It has been in a foam case for quite some years.

The Syndrum Quad was clearly of high build quality. The circuitry is fully discrete, putting it at a level that Moog and ARP were at the time.

I have no way of testing this unit, as I do not have the 5 pin cable. But it turns on! Judging by the case it was stored in and the cosmetic condition - which is very good - I’m confident in saying this unit most likely will work. But there’s no way for me to test it, so it’s sold as is.

The switch for Channel 3’s sweep function gets stuck in the “Down” switch position but can easily be adjusted with a little push. Channel 4’s vibrato spread fader could use a little lubing.
