Born in 1954 and evolved into its striking double-cutaway shape by 1958, the Les Paul Junior - with its flat, simple mahogany body carrying a single P-90 - is rock itself, distilled. Sixty-six years on from 1960 as of 2026, genuine Juniors like this are disappearing from the market, and finding one in good condition today is nothing short of a miracle.

This is a 1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior in Cherry, fitted with an early long-magnet "dog-ear" P-90. Every ounce of unnecessary flash has been stripped away, leaving a rugged instrument that translates a player's passion directly into sound.

Its single dog-ear P-90 uses the early long-magnet design coveted by collectors. The higher coil-turn count combined with the strong long magnet gives it the wild upper-register rasp of a single coil, while producing a thickness and shimmering harmonic richness that approaches a humbucker.

With switches stripped away entirely in the name of simplicity, everything is controlled through picking dynamics and the volume/tone knobs alone - from bell-like clean tones to a driven, feral rock roar, fully at your fingertips.
