Warwick GPS Corvette $$ 5 String - Burgundy Red Satin

Where to start with one of Warwick's most iconic packages? The Double Buck is a great variation on the Corvette model; bringing all its surprising ergonomics, but pairing it with two stonking soapbar humbuckers. Versatility, however, is catered for: master volume (with push/pull toggle for active/passive mode), pickup blend dial and a 2 band EQ, is accompanied by two switches which allow you split each pickup into single coils. Be prepared to slip into any genre you wish.

With all that, the bass still feels uncluttered, a nice deep but thin neck gives you relatively close string spacing for a 5 string. Sometimes these Warwicks can weigh in heavy (especially bubinga models), but this comes in at a manageable 4.14kg (9.12lbs). It is hard in photos to do justice to the red satin stain on the Ash body, but the effect is an aesthetic that oozes class.
