Guild first released fuzz pedals around 1967. Initially, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) production was handled by Mosrite, and later by the early Electro-Harmonix, led by Mike Matthews.

This is a two-knob model from the Electro-Harmonix OEM era. Although there are some dents and scratches on the case, it is in relatively good condition.

The controls are two-knob: power on/off and volume/fuzz. The transistors have been replaced with two slightly later Fairchild 2N4970s. The fuzz pot has also been replaced. Its appealing, aggressive upper-range fuzz is intense, and the roaring sound it unleashes when you turn up the volume is addictive.

Replacement parts: Transistor, Fuzz Pot
Accessories: None
