The new Gibson Victory Figured Top was created in response to player requests for the return of this iconic 1980s-era cult favorite. Built for limitless expression, this modern revival preserves the soul of the original Victory models while incorporating enhanced features for today’s players. With refined body contours, improved weight distribution, and a bold Explorer-style headstock, this guitar makes a strong statement on stage and in the studio.
Its 25.5” scale length offers a snappy, articulate response, while the SlimTaper mahogany neck and compound radius ebony fretboard ensure superb playability across all 24 medium jumbo frets. The body is made from solid mahogany topped with a stunning AA figured maple cap, finished in a rich gloss nitrocellulose lacquer for classic Gibson visual appeal.
The Victory Figured Top’s 80s Tribute humbuckers are wired with advanced push/pull controls on both the volume and tone knobs, allowing for coil splits and inner/outer coil selection. Combined with the 3-way pickup selector, this gives players an incredible range of humbucking and single-coil tones with minimal controls.
