Ibanez AZ24S2 Guitar in Metallic Light Blue B-Stock 0341

Ibanez AZ24S2 Electric Guitar in Metallic Light Blue B-Stock

The AZ24S2 is built for players who demand both comfort and reliability night after night. Its ergonomic double-cutaway contours and modern neck geometry cut fatigue during long sets, while the roasted maple neck and carefully voiced Ibanez Modern Custom pickups respond consistently whether you're dialing in articulate cleans or pushing into dirt. This is a gigging guitarist's tool—precision engineered, road-tested architecture that handles studio work, live stages, and everything in between.

Playability & Feel

The 25.5" scale and Super All Access bolt-on joint let you work the entire 24 jumbo stainless steel frets on the jatoba fretboard with white dot inlays without reaching obstacles. The alder body in Metallic Light Blue paired with the roasted maple neck keeps weight down so you can strap in for a full set without shoulder fatigue, while the neck joint and body mass deliver excellent sustain and tuning stability through extended playing sessions and temperature swings common on the road.

Tone & Electronics

The pair of Ibanez Modern Custom humbuckers in neck and bridge positions punch through live mix with articulate highs and punchy mids that hold their character across gain ranges. The T106 tremolo bridge with chrome hardware keeps tuning locked in tight, while 10.5mm string spacing, locking machine heads, and the dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch let you shape your tone on the fly—essential when you need to shift voices mid-performance without reaching down to your pedalboard.

This specific B-Stock unit features minor cosmetic imperfections: material trapped beneath the clear coat on the back cover plate and a finish crack at the neck pocket. These marks are purely superficial and have absolutely zero impact on the playability, tone, or structural integrity of the guitar.
