This Fender Custom Limited Edition Roasted '60s Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic with Aged Lake Placid Blue over 3-Color Sunburst finish immediately strikes with its aged aesthetic and the materials used. However, if you carefully read the technical specifications, it is an instrument with remarkable characteristics.
The body, made of roasted alder selected for its lightness, is paired with a quartersawn roasted maple neck for excellent stability. Given these technical specifications, the instrument is extremely resonant and has a powerful attack.
The neck features a comfortable Mid 60's Oval "C" profile and is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, selected for its thickness, with jumbo/6100 frets and a 9.5" radius.
The electronics consist of a set of Fender Custom Hand-Wound Texas Special Stratocaster single-coil pickups wired with Strat 1/2 Blender wiring with Tone Saver, where the Tone 2 control acts as a blender for the neck pickup.
